Withdraw from Book Event

I just wanted to take a moment and let everyone know that I have withdrawn from the Dallas Book Blast event in Dallas, TX in November 2026.

If you are unaware,, one of the organizers for Anytime Author Promotions (AAP) made some insensitve comments about the ICE raids in Minneapolis, MN, claiming that because she didn't see the ICE agents, that it "wasn't as bad as people are making it seem".

She discounted eyewitness accounts, video evidence, and other credible documentation to push a narrative that is not only tone-deaf, but harmful.

Due to these statements, I recognize that the AAP events could potentially be dangerous to my readers. I understand that I do not have a huge following, but if even one of my readers came to the event, I would want them to feel safe and comfortable. I would rather lose out on potential sales than put one of my readers in a position that would harm them.

I hope you all understand, and if you were looking forward to seeing/meeting me, please let me know, and we can possibily set something up at a local bookstore.
